Description - Annual grass, emerges in early Spring and sets seed in early Fall. Dies with first killing frost.

Control Timing & Methods - Winter before seed germination apply pre-emergence/soil active herbicide to prevent seed germination. Late Summer to early Fall, cut/mow before seed set or apply foliar herbicide. May need to repeat up to 3 years to deplete seed bank in soil.
